Thibaut De Bondt, trained at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp by Kevin Van Giel and Lode Violet, is active as a professional baritone player and composer. He won several soloist competitions, most notably the European Soloist Competition in Malmö 2023. Since then he became artist for the 'Besson' brand and the 'Denis&Wick' mouthpieces. He plays in Brassband Willebroek on the first baritone chair and hopes to continue doing this for a very long time.
Besides playing music he has a very big passion for teaching. Thibaut teaches classes in three different music academies where he hopes to bring out the same passion for music in the next generation of brass players.

AMWD Mortsel - Edegem - Kontich
An academy based in Mortsel, with several satellite departments in Kontich and Edegem, that seems to continue growing year after year. This close-knit brass class is something many other academies could envy. Students are given countless opportunities through events such as the brass concert, the twilight walk, and many more enjoyable activities to take part in.

With a satellite department in Kapellen, this is a thriving academy with a warm and welcoming brass class. A very strong organizational structure provides excellent support for talented children, which is clearly reflected in this vibrant academy.
